Brainstorm - Find a good idea
Make an outline - Organize your idea into some topics such as introduction, body paragraphs and conclusions.
Conduct a research - Get the information that you need and fill in your outline.
Write your first draft - Put it together and see what we have.
Revise - Make your ideas clear, add details, cite your sources and improve the writing. Verify supporting ideas, evidence, example, expert research to strengthen your paper.
Paraphrasing
Paraphrasing can be defined as rewriting of a specific passage from someone else. It is written in your own words, without changing the original meaning or removing any information.
There are 5 steps to paraphrase :
Read the passage several times to understand the meaning.
Note down the key concepts.
Write your version of text without looking at the original.
Compare your paraphrased text with the original one, and if you feel phrases too similar make changes.
Do cite the source to prevent plagiarism detection.
